Petrophysicist

The position will integrate electric log, mud log, core, pressure, and test data in the timely evaluation of reservoir potential for major, and independent oil and gas companies in both domestic and international production and exploration.

Candidate should possess a B S. or advanced degree in an engineering discipline and have at least ten (10) years experience in formation evaluation. Experience in the interpretation of both clastic and carbonate reservoirs is essential. Experience in the evaluation of unconventional reservoirs, such as tight gas sands, shale, and coal beds, is also desired. Knowledge of evaluation software, Powerlog, Geoframe, and Geolog is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to present results and promote service to clients is necessary.

Dipmeter & Image Interpretation Specialist

The candidate will ultimately be responsible for developing this business. An advanced degree in geology with work experience that qualifies the candidate as an expert in the interpretation of structural and stratigraphic features and naturally fractured systems is required. The candidate must be able to sell services that address client needs, present results in oral and written form, and establish long term professional client rapport. Experience with other geology modeling software such as Petrel would be a plus. Specific experience with the dipmeter and image processing and result presentation of Recall-Review is most beneficial.
